Old coatings are common. Over the years, many terrazzo floors were waxed, sealed with acrylics, or treated with products that sit on top rather than protect from within. These layers yellow, scratch, and trap dirt, making the floor look worse than it is.

Furniture is moved or protected. Cracks are filled, damaged areas repaired, and any loose aggregate addressed. We control dust and water throughout.
We work through progressively finer diamond abrasives, removing the worn surface and revealing the aggregate beneath. This is where the floor's original colour and detail reappear.
Once polished, we apply a penetrating sealer to protect against staining and simplify ongoing cleaning. The floor keeps its natural look, just with added resistance to daily wear.
